DiG! illustrates the fragile relationship between The Brian Jonestown Massacre and The Dandy Warhols over a seven year period. It’s a crazy documentary that craftily shows the rise of this two bands and the struggles they encounter along the way. There’s rampant drug use, the dichotomy of selling out shows and still being poor, but most famously, it goes in depth into the crazy/genius mind of Anton Newcombe, lead singer for The Brian Jonestown Massacre. If you ever watch VH1 countdowns, you’ve probably seen this video:
